"Nostra" one of a kind abstract contemporary art necklace / recycled jewellery

Upcycled from a vinyl record, "Nostra" is part of a series of exclusive art necklaces made from mostly recycled materials, using the analog collage technique.

For this exclusive piece, a beat up 1989 Howard Jones vinyl record serves as a canvas, literally. Take a look at the last photo and you'll see how special it is. Details are cut out from vinyl record sleeves, metallic gold detail and painted paper from an old German book about Nostradamus... hence the name 'Nostra'.

There is only one like this in this whole wild world and we think that's fab.

▹the necklace comes on a nickel free gold plated stainless steel chain (tarnish free), which attach to the back of the necklace with lobster clasps (see last photo) so no clasps are visible.
▹ the front and back are coated with a bio based resin.
▹very light and comfortable to wear.

This piece is a fab present for the vinyl enthusiast in your life, the lover of quirky art jewellery or unique upcycled design. All pieces are made with intention in my little home studio in Co. Kerry, from vinyl records saved from ending up in landfill. Yup, rubbish has never looked better.
